Great read.
When I first got into MM around late '06, I wasn't really interested in her as much and actually hated her "burikko" cutesy character but probably arond '08 and when she got on a lot of variety shows, she really stood out to me and I saw just how much she was trying her best just for people to notice the group.
It's weird how we can change our opinions on people just by small detail.
