A new cover group: KanojoPOP!

You might have seen my profile feeds entries about the first release of the new covering group KanojoPOP, but I want to go a bit more into detail about them.

KanojoPOP is a group of 7 members who cover idol songs. Groups covered are H!P groups, 48 groups, GALETTe and more to come - you see, there's going to be quite some variety.

Sub-units of KanojoPOP are

• Otogibanashi Mori, inspired by Mori Girl. They will do songs with a fairytale theme.
• Taiyo Ginger, with upbeat and funky songs.
• Bellerie, covering sweet and soft songs like ballads.

Also part of KanojoPOP is an own training programme called Seishun Society. Members of the Seishun Society will sub for main group members if they are too busy or otherwise unable to record their lines. They will do their own training programme with tests as well. If you audition for KanojoPOP and get rejected, Seishun Society can be your way into the group! If a main group member becomes inactive for too long they'll be transferred into the training programme - and a trainee can become a member of KanojoPOP.
At the moment there's one member, Mutou Tea.

KanojoPOP tries to keep the group busy. There will be releases every month - in October there will be 5 songs for the debut, November won't be less exciting with 3 main songs and one release from the sub-units Taiyo Ginger and Bellerie. But there is more to the group than just releases: There will be a radio programme called Dokan!, a group blog and special events for birthdays and holidays.
