C-ute A-side singles Top 10
This is a Top 10 list of my favorite A-Side singles for C-ute so far. I also include an explanation why it is that particular number on my list.
But first, some honorable mentions:

10. I Miss You
To me this song is a masterpiece. It's different, having 3 "groups" sing different parts, yet having them tell the story how they truly miss the one they love. You could feel the pain when they sing. I can't tell which I listen to more: the song itself or its instrumental haha! Perhap's I'm just biased, but I tend to lean my ears to Airi and Chisato's lines. Don't get me wrong - I love all the girls. But their lines I focus on more in this song. I think it's interesting how they formatted the video; the blue parts are random, and as I watch the youtube promo version, I get so confused on where to look for the subs. (That's what Project! Hello is for - for the lyrics!). But anyhow it's such a great listen for me.
9. Momoiro Sparkling
Cute-ness to the max!! (hehe, excuse the pun) My goodness, I remember when this came out. I was in love!! The set is simple, but it pops and the colors are so vibrant. The dance is fun too. And oh yes, the bubbles!!!
Mai and Saki are perfect for me here. Too adorable and their singing is wonderful. The beat is so catchy.
8. Kokoro no Sakebi o Uta ni Shitemita
What's there not to like about this music video? I think it's original. The mannequin parts are clever. And the set is again simple. The black and white stripe background makes me a little dizzy. But it's to be expected, right? I love the outside shots and the effects that are done on those shots too. I think (and what I can hear) the line distribution is really good. The one who's most stunning? Maimi - just saying. This is another song where I love the instrumental.
7. Sekaiichi Happy na Onna no ko
When I thought they couldn't get cuter than Momoiro Sparkling (yes, excuse the pun again), they released Sekaiichi Happy na Onna no ko. This may be their lowest selling single, but I love it to bits. Again, very colorful. The set is very cool as each room has decorations and items in each member's color. I would like to wear the dress!! And can we talk about the dance? It's so fun!! The girls are singing about being the happiest girl in the world. Well, this song makes me very happy as well.
6. Adam to Eve no Dilemma
From a cutesy song to a mature, sexy song. The dark green outfit is reminiscent of, well, leaves, if you know the story. But what appeals to me more is the white background and the silver apples lacing around the set. The set pops out to me the most. Here is also another example where the instrumental is great, too. And Mai's line at the end...a-maz-ing!! It was here where I looked at her and realized how much she had grown and matured. (Plus, if I may add, I loved the B-sides of this single too. hehe)
5. Tokaikko Junjou
Are.you.ready? First off, Maimi's monologue in the beginning
I've loved this music video for a long time. It's outside for one. It's a wonderful music video - H!P needs more of videos like this. And the dancing - wow. C-ute is know for being the best dancers; they were then too!! And little! Mai and Chisato hehe so adorable! It's an Airi dominated song (I guess?) but hey at least Erika and Kanna are here too. It's their third single but I love it.
4. Dance de Bakoon!
I loved the music video the minute I first saw it. It is like a club, I guess. I've not been to one so haha. Anyways, the black outfits are nice.The dance to this song was one of the first dances from C-ute that I could learn. I remember watching the music video over and over and over again to try to get all the points. It's also a song I get stuck in my head a lot. It's also a thing too - I would love one of the white dresses. Haha. So great!!
3. Tsugi no Kado wo Magare
This song. Oh my goodness. I.Love.It!! Takui, hats off to you!! Wow. The girl's vocals are top notch. It's the single that is meant for their 10th anniversary, and the girls have come such a long way. I have this song on replay a lot. I might be over-glorifying the song, but it's true. The lyrics have tons of great meaning, especially for me. The music video is well crafted and I enjoy the lighting. I'm not sure where the location is though. Still trying to figure it out. Everyone keeps saying it's like the perfect anime song - I agree

2. Everyday Zekkouchou!!
Another feel good song. The message is great too. It's like a theme song almost. Again, the music video is outside!! It came out in 2009, a little after I started getting into C-ute. It's been one of my favorites ever since. It's great because it's Erika's last single. The upbeatness is a great send off to her. I also love it where the girls pair off and sing before the chorus. Such fun!!
1. FOREVER LOVE
And here we are at #1. This was the very first song I heard from C-ute. Once I discovered Buono! and I looked up and saw that the girls were from Berryz Kobo and C-ute, I had to look them up. And I'm glad I did. It started my love for H!P. Anyways, it was this song that popped up first for me, and of course it was the first music video I saw of C-ute. I recall I had to watch it a few times, but I got addicted so fast. I love the clothes and the transitions between them. I know a little of the dance. I felt bad when I learned that it was Kanna's last song. With her foot problems, I hope it wasn't terrible for her. But this is my go-to song from C-ute. From imagining the dance in my head, to humming the song, to watching the music video numerous times, this is the #1 for me!!!
I don't know what group I will do next. Stay tuned for it!!

Everyday Zekkouchou is so underrated! Honestly, it's one of my favorite C-ute singles, but never makes anyone's top 10 list.
