MM14 Concert New York City
As much as I am so, so, SO happy that the girls are coming to the U.S., and it's the east coast for a change, I know I can't make it.
Sure, I'm near Chicago. Not that hard to get a flight to New York.
I've been a MM fan since 2009, and even when they came to Los Angeles, it was way far for to me even attempt to come. Now that it's in New York and much closer to me, it's unfortunate for it to be in October, due to my nursing clinicals and classes then. And finances aren't the greatest for me either. Here it's my only chance to see the girls, and Sayu for that matter, and I can't.
I'm both super excited and happy, yet I'm really sad too....
Don't mind me being a gloomy rain cloud over here. I do hope those who can go will fully enjoy their time.
I understand what you mean. A lot of times, groups/artists I would like to see come to San Francisco or the Pacific Northwest, and I just can't spare the time and/or the funds. Not to brag, but I did see MM when they were at the L.A. Convention Center in '09. I had only discovered them two weeks before that, and I am so glad I made the effort to go! It took ~an hour to get there, I had to pay to park, and it was $20 admission to Anime Expo. Plus, I had to stand in line for it seemed like two and a half hours in the hot sun to get a ticket to the performance. It is something I will never forget, though! Let's keep supporting our idol stars!
