Japan International Broadcasting's Enjoy Network Japan Internet-J-Pop

The Japanese music internet radio station ENJ started 24/7 broadcasting in February, and listeners have been chiming in with enthusiasm for shows such as "Idol Hello! Project"and "AnisonHour".

A new program featuring VOCALOID music is now in production for broadcast by the end of March. VOCALOID is a singing voice synthesizing technology developed by YAMAHA, made popular in HatsuneMikuand other virtual characters. Users input melody and lyrics to be processed with fragments of voices recorded from actual singers, producing a synthesized singing voice. VOCALOID music has made its mark, with some songs even placing high in karaoke rankings. ENJ's new program will introduce this music field to the global audience.
