"Thanks for the same crap Morning Musume"
I just read this comment, and it made me laugh.
Actually, I read a lot of comments like "morning musume always does the same music", "all the new singles sound the same"
And I really, really, really, really don't get how all the singles sound the same. Really. I can hear bits of this and that in one song, yes, but... It's not because they do music of the same genre that it's all the same music...
But let's try to put that in perspective
We have been introduced to... the 53rd single! Here are the two songs
I will keep my other comments for myself but anyway, I decided to jump back 5 single (since well, they always do the same music right?), that's the 48th single. Released just one year ago (2012), it's
Jeez, that's just 5 singles ago? Yes. That is. And, it's still the same era right? Well, it's the transitory era we can say (I'd say that from the triple grad to Risa's grad it was a transition), but let's face it, 10 girls out of 13 (Risa and Aika out, Oda in) on this single are on the 53rd. Hmm...
And since it's still the same music... Let's go back 5 singles. The "very loved" Seishun Collection released in 2010

Let's go back again, up to the 38th single (Naichau Kamo), released in 2009, so a year before Seishun Collection

I think we can feel the "Platinum Era" in this just like in Seishun Collection, yet we can't say that they are the same songs.

This one was released in 2007.
Anyway, all this to say that I think that when the 58th single will come, we will go back to this release and release that it's actually different from what we'll hear at that moment.
Momusu can follow a certain style/line *coughs*Platinum Era*coughs*, but fact, Tsunku never sticks forever in the same genre or style.
I'm not saying that the 54th single won't be somethin electropop-ish, but it won't be "the same as Renai Hunter", certainly. Just like Naichau Kamo wasn't the same as Seishun Collection even though it had the same platinum era vibe.

Jump back to Joshi Kashimashi. Ai Kago and Tsuji Nozomi were just babies! The music then..up until this point...even since this new generation began (sorry I'm not a Morming Musume person myself but I listen to bits I like since I used to be in love with W before they got in trouble hahha I was like 14. 2005 what! I came back recently for some 48 fandom and I noticed drastic change in Musume sooo. Ha!
I'm not even a fan and I know this.
