Blogging: No time as you get older?

This is just a little thought I've had for a while.

Back in 2009 when I first started blogging on NyNyOnline, it gained - well, I'm going to say it - a good following and I was really happy. But I have this feeling I started blogging at the wrong time. Like 2009/10 was when blogging and going onto forums stopped because everyone started going onto social networking sites and tumblr.

I also think another reason would be that I'm growing up too and getting more responsiblities than I did when I was 16. There was a lot of free time that I had and I put a lot of it in my free time to blog. But now I have work, University and looking after my niece. And the effect seems to have happened on not only my blog but others. Most of the people's blogs that I used to regularly blogged are all on Twitter and have no time now or make a post every 6 months. D: It's quite sad because it was so great looking at other people's posts so frequently.

And I used to go onto a lot of forums back then too, K-Pop forums to be exact especially 2ONEDAY (but if you click the link, you'll see what's happened now). I think a lot of people including me went on forums back in 2005/06 but I saw a decline in 2010 but maybe that's me? Maybe it's the forums that I went onto...

I can't help it but keep blogging because writing is something I love. It's my favourite past time. I want to go onto other people's blogs and read their views on what I blog about to whether it be video games to interracial relationships or about the Japanese or Korean entertainment industry. And when I think about forums, I think Hello!Online is the only forum out of the Japanese and Korean fandoms for years that has stayed active more than ever which makes me happy. I need to keep blogging and get my blog a good following that it used to have, I really wish I didn't delete the url back in 2010 >_< バカだ~

What about you guys? Do you believe this and are you blogging less? Do you feel the time for blogging has stopped or even forums? Also, can anyone recommend me more active J-Pop forums?
