Today is the Moon Festival and one of the resident's family member brings me a bajillion and 2 things. It was one of those situations where I didn't want to take it and at the same time I didn't want to turn it down and offend him. So I took the gifts.
Any sly ways to get out of it next time? Open to suggestions.

I'm not sure. I just feel disconnected from my generation...
I like the technology we have in comparison to the one's my parents had. I like the motivation/independent attitudes that my grandparent's generation had. I share more interest with "kids these days" because I grew up being a nerd and all the nerd stuff now are the in-thing.
