God, when I saw that on tumblr, I got pretty ticked off. Aika may not necessarily be the best singer by whatever standards people are using, but her voice can be pleasant. Her dancing skills are quite good, but it's not her fault that she's fragile.

And she, by all means, is not boring. She's amusing and her blog is actually a lot more interesting and shows a lot of character from her that we haven't been exposed to because she's been hidden so long!

It's so ridiculous how "confessions" or "being opinionated" has worsened, especially for Aika. Most of the comments she gets isn't critical, but instead, it's verbally abusive, bullying, and downright nasty.

I agree with you. On everything you have said. These types of fans seriously need to get over themselves and grow up.

This is why I tend to avoid these confessions things. People don't seem to be aware when they cross the line between confession and blind hatred.
I personally don't understand where people get this hate for Aika from, she is awesome! And I don't get it when people say she can't sing. Fair enough, she's not amazing but this is the idol world. We've heard a lot lot worse.

I think many "fans" have forgotten or never knew that an idol is supposed to be flawed and therefore lovable for it. They are already many hyper-polished female performers if that's your thing, idols are supposed to the flawed girls-next-door that you knew in kindergarden.They are the act, not their singing abilities.

Totally agree with Jayde and Ninja-Man!! I'm a huge Aika fan, and it's not because she was totally the BEST in everything that she did. There was something highly relatable to her. Like she could be your best friend or someone close or you could see yourself easily becoming friends with her. There is something quite endearing about Aika and that's such a draw. I think that was the whole concept of Morning Musume to begin with (not to mention that the ones who made it were the ones who didn't WIN the soloist competition). I dont' think that newer fans or the fans of the OMG!! nature can understand that.

Personally, I really like her voice. It's unique like Yossy's. Not saying that she "sounds" just like Yossy; but it's more that she has a strong unique sound that can stand out and blend in. Risa has a voice like that as well as Makoto and Yuko......and I think that their voices are underused; but still a vital part in the songs.

And I totally understand how you feel about Koharu, Jayde. I wasn't fond of her; but I understood that she still worked hard to perform and do what she was asked to do. I can't hate her for that. For me, that renders much respect!

I am not the biggest Aika. In fact she is my least favorite Momusu, but I hate that people are so rude and shoot out so much hate. I mean how would you feel if that was your favorite and why would you hate on someone who works hard for the group you love?

Aika is the first member i known from Guardian 4. If it wasn't for her... I wouldn't know Morning Musume. Though people need to shut up or else im making fun of your idols! DON'T MAKE FUN OF MINES...OR I'LL MAKE FUN OF YOURS!

This is so true!!! I love Aika and she has REALLY improved. I think you Aika haters can take a lession from this message!!! Aika got her good points and bad, but that's what makes her even more lovely Let's love instead of hate!!!!

Aika is a really good idol and she's improving each day.
Last year she has been through hard things with her knee injury but she was still there, smiling and doing her best.
In the last MM's PV she's amazing.

Haters are really stupid. They have no real reason to hate Aika.
Their favorite idols would be ashamed to learn that they have "fans" who hate Aika.

Thanks for posting that! Aika is one of my favourites in MoMusu right now. I hate it when people just can accept the things how they are and repeating over and over again how much they hate it . Why not seeing anything positive about it?
