Minichia Bears Oh Campee
For the past several months I have wondered if starting a thread for some very small idol groups would be wise. Since I have very little information about them, I suppose not. So I decided to group together a couple "off the radar" junior idol groups together for this blog entry. By "junior idol", I mean very young idols. The type that many probably will overlook due to their ages.
The first I want to briefly talk about is The Minitia Bears (or Minichia Bears, since I've seen both spellings). This group is part of Stardust Promotion, the same company that gave us Momoiro Clover and Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku ("EbiChu"). The Bears are a group of girls between nine and twelve-years-old that mainly do cheerleading , but they also sing. There are fourteen girls on their blog header, but fifteen girls listed who write the blogs! They have performed at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL in both 2010 and 2011. You can see brief clips of the Bears in the three hour TV edits of these music festivals, but there are a couple videos on YouTube with them as well. (I uploaded one myself.) I use Google Translate to translate their blog and the song title from the YouTube video I didn't upload, but as you might expect, the translations rarely make sense. The second group I want to quickly discuss is Oh Campee. This group of girls are also (I believe) between nine and twelve. They have a video on YouTube, but I can't find out if it's on a CD single or not. There are thirteen girls in the group, and two of them do not look Asian! Oh Campee performed at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2011. I wish I knew more about them. Here is their blog: http://ameblo.jp/ohcampee/

Sorry I don't have much on either group. This is why I'm glad I didn't start a thread for them. Hopefully some of you will like their videos.
