BoA!
Yep, Japan's Korean Princess!
She was the 2nd J-Pop artist I really got into, and she was my first time experiencing Korean music. I absolutely love her singles, so it is hard to choose 5, but I did it!
#5 - Kimochi wa Tsutawaru
This song is so darn catchy! It's one of my favourite up-beat songs of hers, and it just screams early BoA.... because it WAS early BoA. Personally, I loved her voice even more when she was younger. It was so powerful and unique... it still is today, but so much more back then! not to mention I love this dance... BoA is the Dancing Queen though, so of course it is fantastic. It was one of my first BoA songs, too.
#4 - Winter Love
I will always, always, always be a sucker for BoA's ballads. She does so well with them! Although this was when she started to use a different sort of voice that wasn't as strong/powerful, it still is here and it works with this song. Her life performances of this are amazing, too. I love the PV as well, very good effects.
#3 - Everlasting
This song... is so beautiful. It was tough deciding between this and Winter Love, but the pure emotion put into this song made it win. Seriously, and she never fails to please in the lives, either. They all are packed with emotion. The only lives I think can surpass these in emotion are the Meri Kuri ones, especially the one where the fans sing back to her... beautiful. The PV is absolutely stunning as well. My favourite part of the song has to be right after the bridge.... so much emotion, and it's so gorgeous.
#2 - VALENTI
Ah, let's take a break from the ballads and move onto... VALENTI! Her best-selling single in Japan and very popular. I love this song so much! Her vocals are amazing here, and I love the little bit of latin flare there is to it. It's extremely catchy, too, and I love the high notes at the end! Her voice is really what makes me love this song so much... they were so fantastic! The dancing in the PV was so fierce, too.

#1 - Meri Kuri
This song... possibly my favourite Christmas ballad ever. The instrumental at the beginning is so precious, and then when the verse starts, you can hear BoA's sweet & strong voice.. again, just like Everlasting, this song is packed so full of emotion, and it's just a very lovely song. The ending after the bridge is pretty epic, and my favourite part of the song. There is a performance where once she is done singing the song, the fans sing it back to hear. It really is touching, and avex removed the audio to the performance, but there is still one up of the fans singing back to her, it just doesn't have the performance at the beginning. Out of all of these, though, my favorite song from BoA has to be Cosmic Eyes!! I love that song!!
